I am teaching my second scrapbooking class tonight at Michael's. I am teaching a 4 week course for EK Success called SDU (Scrapbook Design & You) where students learn how to scrapbook from beginning to end. I taught the first class in the series last week and it was SO invigorating! From what I understand, most Michael's, AC Moore and JoAnn stores offer this program. I started out as a scrapbooker and love to dabble when I can. I had a page accepted by CK the other day and whoa do I ever get excited when that happens!! They accepted my first page way back in Oct. 2004 and it still feels as amazing today as it did back then.
Here's a page that I created recently about my silly Dad
Uh, yeah...he's 71 :) Love the "cool" smushed face!

What a super fun layout! Love those pics. And what a treat it would be to attend a class you were teaching! Kim, you probably didn't see this post but it would mean the world to me if you checked it out: http://carlyrobertson.typepad.com/paper-in-bloom/2010/09/a-plea-to-kim-hughes.html
Have a great weekend! Hugs, Carly

Ohmygosh, your dad is SO cute. I love that layout. And I'm glad you're enjoying your teaching gig. I'm sure they love having you as their instructor. :)

Lovin' the pictures of your Dad!! How fun! But I have to admit, loving the jersey your (brother, brother-in-law?) was sporting! Total Wings fans at our house! And we live outside of Nashville, with the Preds! My hubby is from MI, and being a Southern girl, I didn't know hockey till I met him and once he got me hooked, Detroit all the way!
