I am a list-maker-calendar-lovin-kinda-girl, so you can imagine how much I adore a new set by Papertrey Ink called Calendar Basics. What a super fun way to keep track of dates and to-do's :)
You can find lots of amazing samples using this set when you visit Nichole's BLOG and hop around to check out what the team has in store for you all. My calendar sample is an 8.5 x 11 printed set. It's printed on the heaviest weight paper and offers oh' so many possibilities!
yup, it will be my Grandma's Birthday on the 22nd..she will be 87...and she is seriously THE cutest person on the planet....no kidding...shhh, even cuter than my Dad
I curved the sentiment stamp on the acrylic block before inking. "Happy Halloween" is cut from patterned paper. "Wishing you a wonderful", orange pumpkin and flourish are found in the Calendar Basics set. Tree is stamped twice in 2 different directions. Calendar binding was created by punching holes one inch apart and loosely looping ribbon through the holes.
stamps: Calendar Basics, Falling Leaves, Tiny Treats: Halloween, Been Boo'd
ink: True Black, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise
paper: Halloween Prints, Summer Sunrise, White
other: True Black buttons, True Black gingham, small and medium scallop die cut border

Oh man, somehow I missed your post when you originally posted it. I just saw your card in the PTI gallery and had to come leave a comment. That is a fabulous card. I didn't buy the calendar set, but that card has me adding it to my list! I love the way you used the sentiment (all wavy-like) and the flourish & pumpkin accent. Very cool. Thanks for sharing!!
