thanks for stopping by today. I thought it might be fun to give some schtuff away...it's been a while.
Papertrey Ink Supplies:
stamps: Vintage Picnic
inks: Dark Chocolate
paper: Sweet Blush card stock, White card stock
So, I thought I'd offer a challenge that involves something that I feel very passionate about...Paper Crafst magazine.
here is what you are playing for:
and an issue of the super fabulous Stamp It! Cards magazine
and here's what I would like you to do:
I would love for you to go to the Paper Crafts blog called Paper Crafts Connection...and create a card. This card needs to be inspired by something, anything found on the Paper Crafts Connection blog. It can be the banner colors, a project or a product that you see there. Please send me a link to your card and let me know what inspired you? I absolutely LOVE seeing what you create, so you are doing me a favor by offering up some major eye candy this weekend. I will leave a comment on everyone's project.
one more thing...I'd like you to MAIL your card to someone...what a wonderful way to brighten up someone's day!
You have until midnight. this Sunday to participate if you like. I will announce my one winner on Monday.
while you are at the PC Connection blog, you can participate to have a chance to win a wonderful prize: details: Leave a comment telling Kelly your favorite thing to stamp: focal images, sentiments, backgrounds or all of the above. She’ll pick three lucky people to win Stampin’s Up’s Vintage Vogue stamp set, a stamping block and a charm and necklace set from their Simply Adorned collection. And a little inspiration to go with it…a copy of Stamp It! Cards and our fun CHA button. All comments must be received by midnight (MST) on Sunday, Feb. 21.
now...have some creative fun this weekend...ok?
*smooches*
inspiration challenges are my favorite, I'll see what I can rustle up.
love your card! the picnic baskets are next up on my shopping list.

I am new to the whole challenge thing but I thought I would give this a try. I loved the bright colors that were used on the cover of the new Stamp It! magazine! The hot air balloons make me think of warm spring like days so I created this card with spring in mind. Here's my link: http://forum.papertreyink.com/forum/gallery2.php?g2_itemId=100415 I hope it works :)

I love this challenge, this is my first time. But since I was making cards for OWH and "cards for kids" I thought I would make one for this. Here is my inspiration: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2701/4340172030_f4b59a3473_o.jpg and here is a link to my card and I am sending mine out to my Mom for her Birthday. http://mainejewel.tumblr.com/post/403342730/paper-hugs-card-challenge

This was a fun challenge. I haven't had the time to sit down and create for a while, so it felt good! My card was inspired by the altered composition book on the Feb. 12th entry. I, too, love the Papercrafts Connection blog and am always excited for fresh inspiration. Here's my card:

I was out of town this weekend, so my crafting time is limited... The patterned paper did most of the work for this card, but my 4 year old dinosaur expert won't mind.. :) LOTS of Papertrey in Paper Crafts lately!
Here is a link to my gallery -- the actual upload won't be approved and visible until tomorrow, though, I think (sorry!):

Thanks!

There was lots of inspiration to be found, but I chose the butterfly on kraft card with "Sending you sunshine and laughter" and here is my creation that it inspired: http://moltopiccolo.wordpress.com/2010/02/22/a-good-thing/ Thankyou!

One of my goals for 2010 crafting wise is to get outside my comfort zone. I tried out some of the Shimmerz Vibez spray - going Opaque and shiny following one of Cath's 10 CHA trends.
