...chalk
I know, you may be thinking that chalk is so yesterday...I used them forever ago too, but I still have them and I still enjoy them so much. They are on sale at CHF this week. I am hoping they make a major come back. Feel free to participate and upload to the CHF gallery and use the key word "chalk" with your title. I have discovered a new use for them and I hope you give it a try (well, new to me any ways :)
I used a glue pad and stamped the solid oval onto the paper and then rubbed chalk over the image, leaving the most beautiful color. I repeated this over and over with 3 different chalk colors. I then designed the card and added chalk to my patterned paper to make it coordinate better. I will be pulling out my chalks more often. Pebbles chalk, stamps by Cornish Heritage Farms and paper by Basic Grey.
*Tip apply chalk like you are using a paint dauber...pounce up and down over the sticky, stamped surface*
*FF It is a law in NY that the penalty for jumping off a building is death* (I suppose they are offering to finish the deal if you don't die the first time?)

Stunning! This is SO lovely in red. A great reminder that pastels can be bold, thanks! The thing I love about the technique you used is that with the glue pad there's no need to set the pastels. woohoo! :0) mel

Gotta get out my chalks! Super card! I wonder if you were bungy jumping off the Empire State building they would still kill you, that'd be a shame....
