Hero Arts + Paper Smooches Challenge: Day 3

These are the stamp sets that we have chosen for today. Paper Smooches Pretty Phrases and Lauderdale Floral by Hero Arts
...and here's my card
I stamped the background with the cool flower image to create patterned paper. The butterfly is stamped onto the base and stamped again and cut out and used as an accent. You may be able to tell that it pops! I decided to tear my base card stock to add more texture.
I think I might have mentioned a giveaway that would be posted today...well, we decided to post the details on Friday. You will have all weekend to coment and winners will be chosen and posted on Monday.

I'd like to take this time to announce that I have resigned from being the Zva Creative DT Coordinator. I have enjoyed every inch of the 2.5 years that I worked with this fabulous company and I truly wish them continued success. It was such a difficult decision to make, but I feel that I need to give as much of my attention to Paper Smooches as I possibly can. It's a BIG job for one person, but boy do I LOVE it! :)
This will be my last Zva blog hop :(

Hero Arts + Paper Smooches Challenge: Day 2

Today we used Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes and Hero Arts Get Merry stamp sets
I love the big font size on this Hero Arts stamp set! The tree is totally whimsical and the sentiments are perfect. It totally compliments our dudes.
I decided to create a softer card today, so I inked the edges with Clearsnap chalk ink. I used tiny scalloped edged scissors to add interest to my main paper panel. The snowflakes are stamped in 2 different shades of brown and I thought that twine bows might finish off the trees nicely.
I will be back tomorrow, sharing another PS + HA card. Jennifer and I have a giveaway planned for you all...woohooo

Zva Creative September DT Blog Hop!
Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcomes you to join us this month for a blog hop that we feel is always extra special! We thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize! See details below.
The summer trade show was in July, which means brand new Zva Creative products. So please keep an eye out for them at your local craft stores.
As you know, Zva offers so many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. We want to make sure that they shine bright for you, so each designer was asked to share a creation using a specific color or color combination on their blog hop project.
The Blog Hop begins here. I will have the complete list of all blogs that are participating in case there is a glitch along the way. If you would like to play along, just follow along the blog path. Hero Arts + Paper Smooches Challenge
I have another fun project planned for you today...
I am excited to be partnering up with Jennifer McGuire and Hero Arts this week (Monday-Friday). I have always LOVED Hero Arts stamps (swoon)...and they work beautifully with my stamps! Jennifer and I are creating with the same stamp sets and will be offering up some blog candy on Friday. I will be back tomorrow with another Paper Smooches/Hero Arts card. Jennifer will have some Paper Smooches stamps to give away and I will have some Hero arts stamps to give away...wooohoooo

I paper pieced my witch and cut a broom from Core'dinations card stock. I have no idea how that witch is keeping her balance flying around like that...but it looks like FUN!!
