I hope you are ready friends, cuz I have lots to say :)
Not too long ago, I unpacked the last box. It was 4 years ago since my last move, so I forgot how much work it really is. So glad to be done! Just a few areas that need to be organized...it's a good thing that I love doing that.
I may have left some of you scratching your heads at the craziness that's been going on for the past month with my life. After 13 years of marriage, my husband I have parted ways. I considered many options and decided upon Arizona because it's on the west side of the country, which costs much less than moving back east (plus no humidity), I have 6 family members here and my Dad didn't blink an eye when I asked if he would move with us. My Dad and I have always been very close, so this is such a wonderful thing.
I bought plane tickets to NY in July for my kids and I, before the break up happened, so my plans needed to move around the tickets. We stayed with my closest friend, Becky, in Salt Lake City and then went on our trip to NY as planned. Flew back to SLC and drove to AZ. And, now here we are...phew, right? Trying to condense this all as much as I can. For a girl who is drama free and always under control, this was quite a challenge. I have an amazing support system and I am looking forward to what the future brings. I am so happy that you are here to continue my journey with me.
Here is my Dad with 4 of his sisters. His 2 brothers and 1 sister was not able to attend this year. There were 13 siblings. The turn out was not huge, but we are so glad that we went...it was a beautiful day.
and here is my super adorable Grandma. I just hug her as much as I can when I visit...boy do I miss her so much already.
We visited with so many friends and family. I wish I took more pictures...ack!!

ummm, yeah, this was the sign we saw at the rest area in AZ...super fun eh?
And some cactus' came to welcome us to our new state.
what? it's only 107 degrees today? :)
I had a stamp release since I have been away. It's called Autumn Trees...third set in the series. You can find this set easily on the homepage at Cornish Heritage Farms (link to the right)
I am sorry that I don't have a project to share today. I did create a card for the Got Sketch? blog that will be posted on Wednesday...I will share it with you then.
My kids started school today. (5th and 7th grade) I have butterflies in my stomach for them. I can't wait to hear about their first day.
I should go eat something and finish up around here. My Dad arrived tonight! Can't wait. Thanks for listening
xoxo
