How did I get so lucky to have so many amazing friends? Thank you so much for the heartfelt congrats,,,I appreciate each and every one of them. I am beyond excited about my newest venture. I will be able to finish out the year with Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine, which I am SO happy about. Catherine and Kerry have been a dream to work with, and have become two of my dearest friends. No doubt their publication will continue to WOW us all.
To answer a couple of your questions...my color coded list consists of;
red: something I have to do such as DT obligations, taking my kids to doctor appts, wishing someone Happy Birthday etc
olive green: magazine calls with deadline and call details (and anything magazine related such as a Scrapbook & Cards today release date)
blue; anything associated with Zva Creative...I am the coordinator, so I keep in contact with the team every week.
my other team obligations have their own color as well. (no purple though)
along the left column, I have bullet points of what to keep in mind. I have a list of future birthdays, a check off list of assignments and anything that i need to follow up on
I worry about one month at a time, otherwise it could get overwhelming. Just seeing a long list could make me nervous, so color coding them, make it less intimidating.
...and...I don't drive because I was born with Ocular Albinism. I had glasses when I was 6 months old (I still have them). I have a limited field of vision, so I am not allowed to drive. I used to...scary thought, I know. I drove when I was 18 until I was, I think 30. I didn't know what was up with my eyes until I was 28...can you imagine going all that time and never know what the heck was wrong with you? Apparently it's pretty rare, like one in every 500,000 births or something, I know, right, lucky me :) No worries, it's all I have ever known. Sometimes when one thing is taken, something is given in it's place...that would be art for me. yup, I do feel blessed. (sort of ironic, I think) There's not a lot of info. out there, but you can read about it here:

This card was published in Paper Crafts, Feb 2009 issue, I think...I can find out easily if you would like to know the exact issue. Never thought I'd miss my AOL browser so much. it was in Paper Crafts for sure though.
I printed a photo onto a transparency sheet. I staged the photo using flowers that Catherine sent to me, my Mom's wedding gloves, and my wedding band. The flower was yellow...I manipulated the photo to make it pink. (honestly can't remember how I did it, but I probably peed my pants in excitement,when I did it JK)
*FF In Tokyo, they sell toupees for dogs!* (yeah bay-bee)
enjoy your day ;)
