...I have skipped some Friday posts lately...I am happy that I made it here today. I suppose I am usually figuring out plans for my kids...those crazy weekends ya' know. :)
Here's a card from this weeks sketch on Di's blog
Making Memories papers, Stazon ink, Heidi Grace epoxy heart stickers, American Crafts alphabet stickers and Copic markers
*Tip cut a paper accent from patterned paper, like in this case, the stinkin' adorable hippo*
*Tip 2 when in doubt...buy whilte alphabet stickers and customize the color by using Copics...it took a few coats to get the colors that I wanted. I am thrilled with the results*
*FF Hippos were once thought to sweat blood. Actually hippos secrete a pinkish colored oil that helps them keep their skin moist in the hot African climate* (hmmmm, could this be why MM chose pink for their hippo...did they know they were being clever?)
*Friday's Publishing Tip - I know some keep track of submitted projects with a spread sheet....I simply do not have time for that. What I do to keep track is...I have a basket next to my computer and after I have submitted a card fopr example, it goes in the basket. I watch to see when calls have gone out and I remove everythign for that call. They are then safe to submit elsewhere*
*AI fans...No doubt the David's belong to be at the final 2. I look forward to this week to see who wins out. I predict the winner being David Cool...oopse, I mean Cook :) He is cool though, hehe

Great idea with the Copics!!!! I love that little hippo too! AND -- I love the pub basket idea too. :) I think I need to try that.

Hey, it's a hippo!! My favorite ;) I've been MIA for a few weeks b/c I was moving. What a fiasco, but I'm back now! I hope to visit your blog more often now that I'm back in the swing of things. Love the card, of course!!

Great page, I LOVE that hippo!!! The copics are amazing, aren't they and unfortunately they are addictive....all of a sudden you NEED a lighter warmer pink, you can't go another day without that really beautiful spring green.....yada, yada. BUT your stamp sets are my first addiction, they just speak to me (I'm really not a wack-job, I swear!)

Cute card...love your tips. Hey, do they sell your stamps locally? (around where you live? as that is local for me LOL) Im a want it now kind of person and would rather go pick them up if possible.
