Happy Mother's Day
while I would love to be cheerful on this day, it's hard for me. I can't let this day go by without mentioning my Mom who passed away 18 years ago. I miss her terribly. I love being a Mom and recieving those hand-made cards from my kids made this day so much easier. My Dad called me this morning...he is always SO sweet to me. So, today I am takng it easy. Maybe one of these days I will talk about it, but I want you all to enjoy this day.
This card was published in CARDS Magazine...can't remember which issue though. Anna Griffin paper, Prima butterfly accent, Sentiment is by Paper Salon and I believe the ribbon stamp is Art Declassified.

Beautiful card, Kim! I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. My mom died suddenly nearly seven years ago, and I'm doing my best to avoid sappy TV commercials or Mother's Day stories in the newspapers because I know I'd lose it. *big hugs*

This is gorgeous Kim! Today and every day I feel your pain. We never have enough time with our mothers. This is the first year for me and it's been a hard day. Thanks for sharing your beautiful post.

{{hugs}} Kim, it's been 12 years since my mom died and the month of May is always hardest because her birthday is the 22nd. But I have something to look forward to this year - the birth of my nephew which is scheduled for the 20th by c-section! Your card is so pretty.

My mother passed away from breast cancer 27 years ago, today. I was only a year old. I have never really enjoyed Mother's Day either, and today was especially hard, considering it was the exact date. Thanks for sharing your card and the cause.
