Good Morning :)
so sorry I was MIA yesterday...it's been a strange week. I have some making up to do, so here goes ;)
This is Eddie The Eagle, named after my Dad, brother and nephew. He and the "freedom" sentiment are the Stamp Of The Month (SOTM) at CHF and they are on sale this month HERE. I combined the two stamps with 2 sentiments from America The Beautiful and the stars are from Supah Star stamp set. Making Memories paper (5th Ave. Journal Book, taupe cardstock is Prism and the textured orange base cardstock is Core'dinations. Beaux Regards ribbon, 7 Gypsies buttons and Making Memories Embroidery Floss. Prismacolor colored pencil, Sakura Pen. Pearlescent Beige Pigment ink and Oasis Green Chalk ink by Brilliance
*Tip use pearlescent ink to make shiny images...they are much cooler IRL*
Here is the first sneak peek at one of my May releases due out on Friday, May 9th::
This set is called "The Landing Pad" (the branch can be used vertical or horizontal...it's just over 3.5 inches long) more details to come :)
My Mind's Eye "Sweet Litte One" patterned paper from the Wild Aspartagus Colection, Core'dinations card stock, Punches by EK Success, Moss Green Pigment ink and Queue Pigment ink by Clearsnap. Ranger Sepia Archival ink, Sakura pen, Core'dinations textured brown and cream cardstock, Bazzill lime green cardstock and MAMBI Fern rhinestones
*Tip add detail to stamped images with pen*
*Tip 2 when the base card falls short, add circles underneath to make a scalloped edge (this card is 6.25 x 3.5*
*FF (something to ponder) If Jimmy cracked corn and nobody cares, why is there a stupid song about him?*
*FF 2 In Texas, It is illegal to take more than three sips of beer at a time while standing* (but you can chug if you are sitting?)
*FF 3 There are more people alive today than the number of all the people that have died, ever*
*Friday's Publishing Tip : Use mailing labels to label your accepted art work. I have my name, address, phone number and e-mail address on it and then I write what pub and isuse that the project is for in pen*
I will be at the CHF Forum tomorrow for National Scrapbook Day from 10-1 MT or so. Becky and I will be there to chat about getting stampers more familiar with scrapbooking. I would love it if you stopped by.
Have a WONDERFUL weekend! :)

Ooh, love that little birdie in a tree!♥ And the red gingham behind it makes me want to have a picnic sitting under that tree, LOL! ;-)

Good day! Super cute sneak peak! LOVE the sentiment!!!
Related Song story: My dh is teaching my kids to play guitar and the keyboard and this is one of their songs... They wanted to know what Cracked corn meant, so I looked it up...
It has to do with gossiping or just chatting.. The guy singing the song doesn't care because he is going to be a free man... That is one of the interpretations...
I have to miss the festivities tomorrow! Gotta work... Have fun though!
