« another release day... | Main | what a riot!! »

May 07, 2008

and then there were 3

(American Idol) Jason mun...time ta go.  He is so charming and cute, I wish he had a better voice.  Of couse he is waaaaay better than I could ever be...just sayin' :)

Here's another sneak:

Goconfidently

I used the Motivational Centers that I spoke of yesterday along with "The Landing Pad"  Here's another branch that works well horizontal or vertical.  The blue bird is in the set as well.  Clearsnap ink, Autumn Leaves buttons and you guessed it...Waxy Flax.  (can someone please free me from that product...I know it's a dinosaur, but it really is the BEST for button holes) I can't remember the patterned paper...will add in tomorrow.  Sand block by Making Memories.

*Tip stamp on the card base and on another paper and add on top...you can make the tree trunk longer by doing this*

May_9_card_kim

Here is Eddie The Eagle again who is May's CHF Stamp Of The Month.  I created this card using Di's sketch for her weekly challenge.  Dots and Circles backgrounder from CHF.  Sakura pen, Beaux Regards ribbon, Basic Grey paper, Core'dinations and Prism cardstock and Tsukineko ink.

*Tip stamp the sentiment first and work around that*

*Tip 2 I love the scalloped edge on the backgrounder, so I stamped it near the edge, not over it*

*FF Some eagle nests can reach up to 10 feet across and weigh up to 2000 pounds* (yeah, all that space is necessary)

Oh Kim.....on the first one....love it and the buttons are a PERFECT detail...then the second one...Eddie is too CUTE....I must have Eddie!!! Oh, and on Jason....at least he knows he not the same talent as the last three....he's so dang cute though!!

I should start watching AI! These cards are so cute!!! If the Eagle's nest can be that big, they should be poppin' babies out like pop-tarts! Maybe they need lots of room to stretch their wings?

oh kim, i am DYING for tomorrow to come. i will be up and ordering stamps FIRST thing tomorrow morning!!!!!! i can hardly wait!! :)

Ummm you rock, just saying!

Oh my heck! My computer died last week and I've missed so much. I'm WAY excited about your new releases. I can't wait. The curved tree from a few posts back is awesome, I'll buy whatever I have to to get that tree! CUTE CUTE CUTE. And of course the owl. I'm just excited. I think I'm just excited to be back online!

Also it's my birthday tomorrow *geez Erin, ramble much* so I'm excited that you released on my Birthday, I think that's thoughtful of you! haha.

Ok, that's about a week's worth of posting all in one right! HUGS.
