I am so happy that you liked my little sneak. I will post more glimpses when I can **wink**
Here's nother challenge to consider...
This is the Bi-monthly layout sketch for May designed by Julia Stainton for CHF. HERE is where you can find more information and find out how to play along if you would like to...and here is my take on the sketch:
This is a dear friend of mine who got married in February. It was in Florida, so I couldn't make it, which made me sad. We met when we were 5 on the beaches of New Jersey. They are from Rhose Island and of course we were from NY...what a fun way to bring 2 life long family friends together. We introduced our parents and we vacationed together for many years. I haven't seen her in over 10 years. :(

Ghost heart by Heidi Swapp
Flower by Prima
Vellum
Noel Measuring Cup patterned paper by Love Elsie
Sand Block by Making Memories
Ideas to note:
1. I made a custom photo corner by cutting a square in a diagonal and then cut a smaller triangle from the center.
2. I chose to stamp a pattern onto vellum for a softer touch.
3. This is my friend's photo (I couldn't make it to her wedding), so I didn't feel that I could journal on this layout. I felt that a sweet sentiment would work just fine.
*Tip stamp on the paper first and then cut it out*
*FF The collection of Beer mats is called Tagestology* (are they referring to coasters...I don't get it)

Absolutely beautiful! (I love the story of your friendship.)

Kim, beermats are the cardboard coasters found in bars. Maybe its an English term? Sheesh you'd think you'd know a few of those by now *wink*
Maybe I need to call you soon, and remind you of some Enlish-isms

I am from (and living) in NY and I remember the Jersey shore also, life was so carefree....then we started going to Cape Cod with my cousins....the best memories...we take our kids to Cape Cod every year with their cousins and I hope they will have memories as grand as mine. Thank you for stirring up those memories................

I love this layout! It offers a great place to start for those of us that are still experiencing "creative difficulties" :)
Thanks!
