Have a wonderful day. Thank you for stopping by :)

I love looking at your cards...and your stamps? GREAT!
Here is my recipe (what we are having for dinner tonight):
Done in a crockpot but can be done in an oven as well...just less time.
Crockpot Swiss Chicken
6 boneless chicken breast halves, skin removed
6 slices Swiss Cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups stuffing mix (=to 1 box of stuffing mix)
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
Wash chicken pieces and pat dry. Lightly grease slow cooker. Place chicken breasts in pot. Top with the Swiss Cheese. Spoon soup over cheese then sprinkle with stuffing mix. Drizzle melted butter over stuffing mix. Cook on low 6-7 hours or high 3-3 1/2 hours.
Serves 6
(We do 3 breasts, 4 cheese and 1/4 cup butter because there are only 3 of us.)

Here is a recipe that I used quite often:
Steak in the Oven
1lb flank steak (or any other thinly sliced steak)
1 can chicken broth
1/8-1/4c vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoon thyme
1-2 C flour, seasoned with salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 200 degrees
-Tenderize the steak, making sure it's no thicker than 1/4 inch
-dredge steaks in seasoned flour, set aside
-Heat oil into metal pot (make sure the pot and lid are all metal, no plastic!).
-Place coated steaks in the pot, one at a time.
-cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
-remove steaks and add broth and thyme.
-Whisk around for a minute or two
-Add steaks back, cover pot, and stick in the oven. Cook for 2 hours. Check 1/2 way through, and if needed, add more stock.
The left over juice makes a great gravy. We always make it with white rice and a veggie, and is delicious!!!!
I hope you get some great recipes from this! Great giveaway!

Great stamps as usual!!!!!!
Have a great easy recipe that is good and filling. Look out for the *FF* at the end.
Sheperd's Pie
1lb of lean ground beef
Onion Soup Mix
Mixed can of peas and carrots or frozen
6-7 Potatoes cooked and mashed
Butter
Pre-Heat Oven to 375
Cook the ground beef, making sure you break up the large clumps.
As you are cooking the beef add the onion soup mix. The juices from the ground beef will soak up in the mix. If too dry add a little water.
Once the beef is cooked add the veggies.
Boil the potatoes, mash them.
In a oven ready casserole dish put the beef mixture on the bottom. Then add the mashed potatoes to the top. Spread some butter on the top of the potatoes.
Cook in the oven uncovered for 35-40 mins making sure the potatoes do not burn.
And Voila- Dinner is served.
*FF* The real way to make Shepperd's pie is to use lamb meat. This recipe is from England and Shepperd's wives used to make this, hence Shepperd's pie.

Here's my recipe: (another crockpot recipe for you...I love my crockpot!)
Italian Beef Sandwiches
3-4 lb chuck roast (get a cheap cut, really, the recipe turns out better)
1 can beef consomme' (soup aisle, beef broth works too)
1 pkg. Au Jus mix (in the seasoning section, with the taco seasoning mix, etc.)
1 pkg italian dressing (the dry kind, I use Good Seasons)
Mix together the consomme', the Au Jus mix and the Italian dressing. Place roast in crockpot, pour mixture over roast. Cook for 6-8 hrs on low, or 3-4 on high, or until done. When done, take roast out and shred using two forks. Place shredded beef back into crockpot to simmer in the juices for a bit. Serve open face style on hoagie rolls. Melt cheddar or provolone cheese on top if you want.
Blessings, Rebecca

Yeah!!! The release day!!! Great sets and I love them both!!!! Hmm.....easy recipes....try this one and the one after....
Cheater Soup
-one rotisserie chicken from the grocery store-(cooked of course)
- chicken stock...about 6 cups
- a bag of frozen mixed vegetables
-seasonings (salt, pepper, bay leaf)
Heat the chicken stock on the stove in a good size pot. Tear all the "acceptable" chicken pieces off the rotisserie chicken. Put those in the pot, add the veggies and seasonings and simmer for about a half hour. (you can add cooked noodles or left over pasta chopped up etc)
Cream of Broccoli Soup
this is for a big pot!!!
-1 chopped onion
-1 stick of butter
-6 cups chicken broth
-2 cups half & half
- 2 bags of frozen broccoli
-(other incedentels...s&p, bay leaf, 6 T flour)
In a big pot, cook the onions in the butter until soft. Add the flour to make a roux-mix well and let cook a few min's. Add the stock, the half & half and the broccoli chopped(frozen or thawed in the microwave). Add bay leaf and s&p...simmer 30-45 min's....wha-laa.
You can serve both soups with crusty bread or Pillsbury bread sticks that come in a rolled up can-ykwim? Have a great day and gotta say again...LOVE those sets!!!!!

Hey there! Two sauces I like for meatballs (since they are quick...I can throw them over rice and call it a meal!) are super easy.
Sauce #1:
One part mustard, two parts ketchup and two parts brown sugar. Mix with a whisk (in your glass measuring cup is fine) and put in the microwave for one to one and a half minutes. Stir again and serve. (Note: You can make this on the stovetop too. Whenever I make it for our family it is 1/3 cup ketchup and brown sugar and 1/6 cup mustard.)
Sauce #2:
1/2 cup grape jelly and 1/2 cup seafood sauce (from Heinz). Same directions as the first. This one is popular for meatballs in a crockpot at a mixer too!
P.S. They sound gross but everybody likes 'em!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to win the great blog candy! My husband would testify that cooking is not a talent of mine, but there are a few "fool-proof" recipes that we enjoy over and over that are simple to make and delicious. My favorite is:
Crescent Chicken Bake
Ingredients:
-1 cans (10 oz.) chicken, drained
-1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I usually use a bit more)
-1 can (8 oz.) crescent rolls
-1 can (10.75 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
-1 cup milk
Heat oven to 375 degrees
Mix chicken and half of cheese in bowl
Unroll crescent dough, spoon chicken mixture onto rolls, dividing equally
Roll up into crescents, place on ungreased baking sheet
Bake in 375 degree oven until golden brown, 8-10 minutes
Heat soup, remaining cheese, and milk in a saucepan until cheese is melted (use as a gravy)
Serve with filled crescents

Parmesean Cheese
Cook ravioli as directed, in an 8X8 pan, layer sauce, ravioli, cheeses, repeat. Top layer should be cheese. COver with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 25 min. Take foil off and return back to oven for 10 more minutes or until hot and bubbly! Enjoy!!

LOVE your new sets!!!
Here's a yummy one:
Lemon Cake mix
1 egg
container of cool whip
powdered sugar
Mix the cake mix, egg and cool whip. From into balls, roll in powdered sugar and bake! I bake them at 350 until done.
I've also done this with strawberry cake mix.

these two sets are great! Here's a great recipe from Weight Watchers for chocolate cupcakes (you'll never know they're not full of fat!)
-1 box devil's food cake mix
-15 oz can solid pack pumpkin
Mix together. Do not add anything else that is mentioned on the box. It only takes these 2 ingredients. That's all. Mixture will be very thick (and you will be tempted to add something, but don't.) Place in muffin tins, sprayed with non stick spray. Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes. This makes 12 muffins.

Cute stamps sets! Here's a great kid dinner recipe. I don't know what it is but seriously, every child I know DEVOURS this!
CREAMY RAMEN DINNER
Ramen noodles
Sour cream
parmesan cheese
prepare ramen noodles as directed. After adding seasoning, pour out water. Add a generous sour cream and parmesan cheese to your noodles. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
When I first made this, I added peas to it saying to my kids, that's the way it says to make it. They are smart. They caught on to my ways. Now I just give them the peas as an appetizer!

ooh... typo! that was supposed to be "a generous scoop of sour cream". ;)
