I think I am ready!

This whole blogging thing has me a little nervous, but here goes.  :)

7 of my stamp sets will be released on Thursday, October 4th, and they will be available at Cornish Heritage Farms website. A HUGE Treasure Hunt including peeks of all sets and lots of samples using them will happen on Tuesday, October 2. The Cornish Heritage Farms DT will be participating and givng out stamps sets along the way.  One lucky winner will WIN ALL 7 SETS!! I will keep you posted.

Here are some samples that I made using my stamps.

This card uses a pocket from the Flower Vases Set and the sling shot is actually a wishbone from the Let's Get Stuffed (Thanksgiving Set) I used a Paisley Backgrounder for the border and a Weave Backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms.  100% Boy, is my hand writing.  I gave the pocket a denim look by stamping the weave pattern onto textured card stock and then stamping the pocket onto the pattern and cutting the pocket out.

I also used the Flower Vases Set on this card.  Prima flower, buttons from Autumn Leaves and DP from Basic Grey.  I added SU Diamond glaze over the vase to give it a glassy look.  The stem is machine sewn and "miss you" is hand written.  I used colored pencils within the vase to add water.

I plan to post 4 more card sneaks tomorrow and 4 more cards on Tuesday along with the full Treasure Hunt Details.  Please stay tuned.  :)

I am blogging!

I have said in the past that I would never blog, but here I am.  Welcome.  I have kept myself busy lately designing stamps for Cornish Heritage Farms.  When I saw the word "Illustrator" on my contract, my eyes welled up with tears as this is my dream come true.  Within the next week, I will be inviting you into my new world of stamp design.  I hope that you will stay tuned and join me in my new adventure.  :)
