...is a darling set that will be releasing from Papertrey Ink on December 15th!!
who couldn't use a little life savor every once and a while?

I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock and then cut each word and used them separately. Glitter was added with a glue pen.
Papertrey products:
Stamps: Tiny Treats and Background Basics Hearts
Inks: Aqua Mist and Burnt Umber
Paper: Aqua Mist, White and Pure Poppy
Other: heart shaped metal tin, Fresh Snow velvet ribbon
other:
red colored pencil, Sakura Glue pen and Art Glitter
mini tutorial of how to create a moving element:
trace the lid onto the back of the card stock, cut a slit in the center (the sailboat path) score and bend some paper that will go behind the sailboat...adhere to the boat and tuck the paper flaps under the slit and secure to the bottom cut heart along the edge of the heart...voila...it moves!
...and here is a non-Valentine's project using the same set:
Papertrey products:
Stamps: Polka Dot Basics 2 & Mega Mixed Messages
Ink: Burnt Umber and Summer Sunrise
Paper: Lemon Tart and Kraft
Other: Lemon Tart Vintage buttons, Lemon Tart Topnotch Twill ribbon
(Doesn't that delicious Lemon Tart color just make your lips pucker?)
other:
Fiskars punch, Creative Impressions brads and Doodlebug glitter, Sakura glue pen and Zva foam circles to add dimension behind the onsie.
This set includes the sweetest animals and images. I am going to pounce on the airplane and puppy as soon as I get the chance. Each image has a sentiment that compliments them perfectly, making this set so easy to use! that cute bunny will come in handy when Easter arrives. They are the same scale, so I intend to combine them as well. I don't know about you, but i love the look of mixed fonts...text with cursive...yummm :)
...and a third sneak of a new template that I designed for Papertrey this month.
something that's super fun about my card templates...each design includes a card base, an outline and a dotted outline. The outline and dotted lined images can be re-sized and keep their shape, so that they can be used as an accent, used as a stitching template or used with a paper piercing tool. Each image includes a "mirrored" image which is great for when you don't want the lines to show on the front. The image will print in reverse (on the back of your paper) and you can poke the holes for easy stitching. Choose to use all holes or every other one. They are so versatile...and FUN!!
This is what the back would look like after I used my piercer to poke the holes:
Papertrey Products:
Stamps: Simple Valentine
Inks: Sweet Blush
Paper: Rustic Cream and Vintage Cream
Other:
DMC Embroidery Floss and Zva Creative foam squares
*FF Diane Sheer holds the record for licking the most stamps in a five minute period. She slobbered on 225 of the little things* (ewww, why?)
